Unified R&D Data Platform for a Global Antibody Therapeutics Company

Unified R&D Data Platform for a Global Antibody Therapeutics Company A global antibody therapeutics company ran clinical trial planning, project finance, and lab testing on four disconnected external systems, forcing teams to manually pull and reconcile data before making decisions. Innovatics built one unified pipeline centralizing non-regulated business data into consistent, trusted views for feasibility, portfolio, and QC teams.

Outcome

One Pipeline, One Version of the Truth

Everyday business data now arrives centralized and consistent, so teams spend their time making decisions instead of assembling the inputs to them.

4
Source Systems Unified: IQVIA DQS, Planisware, Captario, and LabVantage now feed a single pipeline, eliminating the manual pulling and cross-checking that preceded every decision.
3
Decision Domains Served: Clinical feasibility, portfolio and finance, and QC labs each draw from the same trusted dataset, ending inconsistent reporting between teams working from separate extracts.
100%
GxP Separation Maintained: Regulated drug-safety and manufacturing data under GMP, GLP, and GCP stays in tightly controlled systems the platform never touches, preserving compliance boundaries by design.

The Challenge

The Challenge

Genmab develops antibody treatments for cancer, and teams across the company plan clinical trials, manage project budgets and timelines, and test drug samples in the lab. Each team depended on a different outside system to do its job: IQVIA DQS for trial site suitability, Planisware for time, cost, and resource usage, Captario for forecasting future project cost and duration, and LabVantage for lab test scheduling. Those systems did not talk to each other. As a result, people spent significant time manually pulling and checking data before they could even begin making decisions, slowing everything downstream.

Our Solution

Our Solution

Innovatics built one unified data pipeline that centralizes everyday business data, including trial site planning, project budgets, and lab turnaround, into a single trusted and consistent set rather than something pieced together by hand. Scope was defined deliberately: only non-GxP business data flows through the platform. Regulated drug-safety and manufacturing data governed by GMP, GLP, and GCP remains walled off in separate, tightly controlled systems the platform never touches. From that unified foundation, the pipeline feeds three decision domains: clinical feasibility, portfolio and finance, and QC labs, each receiving views tailored to how those teams actually work.

Technology Stack

What We Used

IQVIA DQS, Planisware, Captario, and LabVantage as source systems, unified through a single centralized non-GxP data pipeline serving feasibility, portfolio, and QC reporting.

The Dashboard in Action

The Dashboard in Action

The platform delivers three decision-ready views built on one shared dataset. Clinical feasibility shows how fast a site can enroll patients, how many complete the trial, and how long start-up and approval take, guiding smarter site selection. Portfolio and finance surfaces actual spend against budget, how resources are being used, and milestone and risk tracking for each project. QC labs tracks whether each drug sample was pulled, tested, reviewed, and reported on time, late, or delayed. Because every view draws from the same trusted pipeline, teams stop reconciling competing numbers and start acting on them.

Closing Statement

Innovatics replaced four disconnected systems with one trusted pipeline, giving R&D teams consistent data to decide from while keeping regulated GxP information fully walled off.
